Conducted inventory and research to help engineers with project planning to avoid significant cultural resources, saving time and money for the project.

For the first year of the project, and prior to founding GrassRoots, Charlane Gross served as cultural resources project manager, leading inventory and identification efforts along multiple alternative routes between the cities of Merced and Fresno.

Cross-disciplinary Analysis

To assist in evaluating the potential for archaeological sites along the route, Ms. Gross and her team developed a predictive model to screen possible site locations using geological reports.
